Oh my head! Ah, the fun of hormonal headaches. I had these with Essie - but not with Jack. Hmm... do we have another girl brewing in there? At least it is one more thing to let me know the little bean is doing well. The nausea has returned too. All day. Well, I wanted symptoms so symptoms I got. Other than that feeling pretty good so far. I got all signed up for my OB orientation. Why I have to go to these I have no idea - it is not like this is my first baby. This is my 4th for crying out loud. Isn't there just some little handbook I could read about the policies at Balboa Navy Hosptital? But no - I have to spend 2 hours on Tuesday the 23rd being told, "don't drink - don't smoke...yada yada yada".

Oh and I went into see that GI doc my RE doc sent me to. We talked and talked about the foul "D" that I have been having since I got pg. He agreed it is probably just a colitis flare up. BUT he wants to do a Sigmoidosopy next week. Heck NO! I had enough trouble getting pregnant, and I am not letting him stick a 3 foot long garden hose up my rear just to "make sure". And with no sedation, or relaxing drugs to boot. Talk about being violated. If you want to do that to me - I had better be unconscious and totally unaware. No way Jose! Blood work? Fine. Bring in "samples" - gross, but ok. But I draw the line at ye old hose up the butt. You are just gonna have to wait until I have this baby and then sedate me and do the whole colonoscopy then. He said that is what he would need to do anyway - a whole colonoscopy after baby is born - and that is the bigger 7-8 foot garden hose up the rump.

Mind you I had the whole colonoscopy thing done about 6 years ago - I had an awesome doc who said, oh don't worry - I'll give you enough versed that you won't even know what is going on. And what an angel he was. The last thing I remember was "turn onto your left side" - and then I woke up and they were done. That is how I officially got my diagnosis.
