Well Hubby was as ecstatic as I was! I truly think he is made to be a daddy of girls. Not that he isn't a great dad for our son - but he just loves having tea parties with the girls and being the light of their lives.
I was a bit worried as I had 3 contractions Thursday night - but no more. But then Friday late, late night I got very crampy and back achey right on through the morning. I called Lianne and put her on stand-by...that I thought I was going to go to L&D. Praise God that everything settled down after a few hours of being up. All I kept thinking was, "I can't loose this baby when Hubby isn't here!". Funny how quickly your mind formulates the very worst scenario isn't it?
Baby girl is more and more active. Although she also likes to worry me. The little stinker. I mean she will be non stop motion for a day or 2...then quite as a door mouse for a few days. Maybe she is growing on the quite days and sleeping more? I know I have been packing on the pounds. I gained zero the first 20 weeks. In fact, at the last OB appt. I was still 4 pounds down from my pre-preg. weight. But in the last 3 weeks I have put on 5 pounds! I am doing nothing different. Oh well. No use fighting it - it wouldn't really be healthy to do so either.
My next OB appt. is Sept. 5th. And Hubby is just going to miss it. Bummer. He should be coming home on or about the 6th/7th-ish.
A lady on my Due In December board had her twins last week at just under 24 weeks. The both passed and went onto the loving arms of Jesus. I can't even pretend to know her heart ache. I pray the Lord grants them peace.
