Less than 10 weeks now. Officially 69 days! Yikes. This is suddenly become very real. I had a very productive weekend. I washed all of the 0-3 months clothes of this child, the crib sheets, bassinet sheets, and blankets. And man - this kids does not need any more recieving blankets! The bassinetis up. I talked with Diana (who is giving us Sarah's crib that was used at her mom's). In a few weeks hubby will go with Diana's DH down to Little Italy and pick it up.
My goodness this is all happening fast! In 2 weeks I start the weekly NST's at the FAU (fetal assesment unit). And then another big u/s at 34ish weeks.
I had a dream last night that I had the baby and was nursing her. Her. She still doesn't have a name. I would really like to name her Josephine (which we had originally agreed on). But Hubby is dead set against calling her "Joey" or "Jo". So it is out for him. I know 10 weeks seems like a long time to worry about a name. But sheesh - it will be here before you know it.
At least at my next appt. I should get my "stork parking pass". This will enable me to park up close in the reserved parking until I have my 6 week post partum check up. Why they make us wait until 32 weeks to get that pass is beyond me. They are building a new parking structure and so there is like a 1/2 mile walk to the OB clinic on base.
My sugars are all wacky again. Maybe it is the antibiotics I am on? Who knows. They were doing so well for the week before I got on the antibiotics. Or it could be all the yogurt I am eating. Being preggo, and having GD, and being on antibiotics I got a major "problem" down there. Ugh. So not only did I treat it with the proper "stuff" but I have been eating quite a bit of yogurt to keep the problem from returning. Oh the joys of pregnancy. And to think we tried 2+ years for this.
