Ok, Hubby is a loon. We have decided on a girl's name (Josephine Grace) for now...and as I pregnant woman I reserve the right to change my mind at any time. That said we can not come together on a boy's name. Want to hear hubby latest and brightest idea on what to name the little bean if it is a boy???


Magnus

Yes Magnus. Obviously Hubby is into weight lifting and follows all that powerlifting and strong man stuff. Very macho stuff. So the man sees all those northmen with the name Magnus, and things that would be a great name for a son of his. I thought he was kidding when he brought it up a few weeks ago. But in the last week I have gotten several e-mails from him referencing our little bean as "Magnus".

Ei yi yi. Sometimes I just shake my head. Don't get me wrong, hubby wouldn't ever push the issue of the baby's name. Eventually we will come together on a boy's name - unless we find out the bean is a girl before. BTW, I will see the OB next on July 11th and will schedule my big u/s at that time.

Oh, and lest I forget! My first OB appt. went well yesterday. I really like my doc. He did an u/s and the little bean's heat was a-fluttering away. Everything looked wonderful and we got a great picture of the little alien. He agreed I should stay on Metformin util I am 38 weeks or so. And, he will check my urine at every visit due to my frequent UTIs. You may think that is routine. Well, with the military they like to cut costs and they see routine urine checks as unecessary for most pregnant women. I strongly disagree, said so, and he agree to check my urine every time. Good. That is 1 point for me.

I did tell my mom today. It went better than expected. She wasn't happy - but wasn't terribly upset either. Whoosh, glad that one is over. I had to tell her before she showed up on Thursday and the kids told her. Talk about akward moments.
