I had my dating u/s today. Everything looked great. Little heart a-fluttering away. Doc said it was in the high 130's. Don't remember seeing the bean move - and now after reading other people talk about their 10-11w u/s and mentioning how they were moving, of course I am worried. Anyway, doc said Bean is a few days short of where it should be. That said they are not changing my due date since the descrepency is less than 1 week.

My OB appt. went well. I really liked the doctor. We decided I should stay on Metformin until the end of my pregnancy. The reason being, since I am on it for insulin resistance - which was diagnosed prior to my PCOS - then going off it during pregnancy would most likely throw in into full blown gestational diabetes fairly quickly. So the plan is to stay on it until 37 weeks and then to wean myself off of it. Since I take 3 pills a day to start taking 2 a day for a week, then 1 a day for a week. By 39 weeks I should be off it, and I will simply have to monitor my blood sugar levels with a monitor. I my next appt. is July 11th.
