Good News!

Well, when Doc. Laufer (head of the S.D. Navy Fertility Clinic) called yesterday and told me to do another Beta HCG this weekend he said it could either be Sat. (today) or Sunday. Since L had her baby there late yesterday evening, I decided I would pop into the lab and have the blood draw and then continue down the hall to visit L & V and baby A - who is just the cutest little thing.

I got home around 2pm and was chatting with Hubby and having a late lunch. A few hours later the phone rings. CAller ID has it merely listed as "cell phone". I pick it up and it is Doc. Laufer! I am panic stricked, as I wonder why the dept. head would be calling me at home on a Saturday evening at 5pm unless it was bad news??!! He tells me that he got my blood work...and I am thinking I just had it taken less than 5 hours ago. Anyway he says the numbers look good - that they doubled again! In 3 days they have gone from a worrisome 395 to a promising 1566! He also asks can I make time to come in on Tuesday for a u/s...you know, one of those up your foo foo with a dildo type thing u/s. Of course I can. He says that once the numbers reach 1500+ you can generally see a heartbeat and then he can send me on my merry way to the OB clinic.

Thank you Lord!!!! And for anyone reading this who has been praying for us - thank you too, and please pray they see a heartbeat on Tuesday (and that I can round up a sitter too).

I had bought an outfit, no 2 at Costco last week in good faith that baby #4 would indeed endure. For a few days there I was really worried that it would be for not. Oh woman of little faith. It is good thing others had faith enough for me and prayed.

Happy-Happy-Joy-Joy!!!!
