A very very sad thing happened indeed. One of the ladies on my Due in Decemeber board lost her baby. She went in to L&D because she hadn't felt the baby move and the baby had been taken home to the Lord. My heart breaks for her. It really hit home that things can happen this late in the game. May the Lord grant her peace.
I am fine - Pippa is moving less and less now - my guess is that things are getting right crowded in there for her. We have decided not to send Hubby to visit his mom since I am so close and having a lot of cramping.
37 days to go now. Maximum. That sure doesn't seem very long. Over at Coastie Chicks I am now #9 on the list of expecting ladies. 9 our of 44. Well actaully #8 as one of the chickies had her baby last night. Wow #8. I remember announcing this pregnancy and being like #53 or something. And there is even a lady who announced recently that is due in July!!! Wow, how can that be? We are expecting July babies already? Time sure does march on, and rather quickly I am coming to realize. Is it me or does it seem the older we get - the faster it goes?
Oh, and mom is now getting used to baby's name. Pippa Louise - although to be an antagonist mom says she is going to call the baby "wheezie" - as in the nickname of Louise Jefferson from the old sitcom "The Jeffersons". I told Hubby if we get stationed somewhere down south we could call her Pippa Lou and she would fit right in, LOL. THEN, the other night we were watching the old cartoon "How the Grinch Stole Christmas"....and it dawned on me. My precious baby girl is a Whoo! She would fit right in....Pippa Lou Whoo. I still chuckle about it even now.
